“Cost-Effective Very Light Jet Training Practices for Developing and Maintaining Pilot Competence: Use of Simulation (Rev 3.0),” International VLJ Training Stakeholders Discussion Group, 25 March 2009.
The March 2009 Royal Aeronautical Society Paper stimulated an interesting discussion during the Question and Answer period relating to the use of motion vs. non-motion simulation in training VLJ pilots. One simulator manufacturer, in particular, stressed that motion simulation is absolutely essential for such training. Members of our discussion group were invited to give their views which generated this 20 page document.
